You may be holding yourself back if you’re doing this…
Hey Love,
Do you often second-guess your decisions? Do you often silence your voice because you fear how people will respond to your opinions? Well, I’m here to tell you that you’re smarter than you think. You have what it takes to make impactful decisions. You just need to build confidence and trust in yourself.
And yes, there are times when you’ll make wrong decisions. Does that mean you should not make decisions at all? Absolutely not! In order to build confidence and trust in the decisions you make, you need knowledge. Here’s what I mean:
Your intuition, your experiences, and your knowledge are all you need to make a difference. Your voice is your power, so stop silencing yourself. Use your voice to create the change that you want to see. Believe in yourself because you’re smart enough.
As you know, I use my voice to inspire and drive meaningful change. That’s why I do what I do. It’s all about creating a future where everyone feels seen and heard, and that includes you. So, as you read through this episode of the Kwanza Jones Chronicles, it’s my hope that you’ll gain some insights that will help you step into your power.
- A few years ago, I created a podcast called “I AM SUPERCHARGED® Podcast.” One of the episodes titled, “Step Up Or Shut Up” talks about how we often shut ourselves up with our actions and provides tips on how you can step up to become the most powered-up version of yourself. Although it’s been a few years, it’s more relevant now than ever as we approach the election period.
- A few weeks ago, I experienced the magnitude of the Milken Institute Global Conference and participated as a panelist among a gathering of global leaders and experts. I spoke at a few panel sessions and one of them was on The $700 billion opportunity: Women investors unlocking the female dollar. I got to share the stage with changemakers like Tonya Allen (President, The McKnight Foundation), Erin Harkless Moore (Managing Director, Investments, Pivotal Ventures), Sallie Krawcheck (CEO and Founder, Ellevest), Linnea Roberts (Founder and CEO, GingerBread Capital), and Anna Mason (Managing Partner, Ingeborg Investments). We talked about the power of investing in women and I shared my thoughts on how culture and community can impact investments. You can watch a replay of the panel session here.
- Mothers are the ultimate Queens. They raise Kings and Queens. They teach us to be smart and help us to build confidence. They teach us to love and show us how the world should be. They deserve to be celebrated beyond Mother’s Day. That’s why I created the song titled, “Queen Moves Only (Mother’s Day Mix),” an empowering song dedicated to all mothers, Queens, and nurturers who have taught us to be better, to be more confident, and to be more powerful.
Queen Moves Only (Mother’s Day Mix)
- This month, I’m highlighting Baby2Baby, a nonprofit that provides children living in poverty across the country with diapers, clothing, and all the basic necessities that every child deserves. No one should have to worry about providing essential needs for their child. That’s why my Teamily volunteered at Baby2Baby a few months ago. If you want to get involved, visit the Baby2Baby website to learn more.
Remember, being smart enough doesn’t mean you have to know everything. It means you’re capable of seeking out information, weighing options, and making informed decisions. It means you’re strong enough to own your power and use your voice.
And you don’t have to do it alone. If you’re a member of the Kwanza Jones Boost Friends™ Community, sign in here and connect with boost friends who will support you, keep you accountable, and help you step into your superpower.
Who loves you? I do!
Bye for now,
Upcoming: There’s a project my Teamily and I have been working on for about seven years. It’s finally getting completed so stay tuned for the next issue of the Kwanza Jones Chronicles. It’s so exciting and I can’t wait to share the details with you.
