Press Release . July 1, 2013

Kwanza Jones June Recap

This month, Kwanza Jones continued her Gladiators “Я” Vicious Tour with stops in Boston, MA and San Francisco, CA. In addition to performances, there have also been an increasing number of Vicious snapback sightings. From social media to an LA Temptation football game, and even a BET Awards after party, people have been rocking their hats and proving that “Vicious is the NEW fierce.”

Let’s rewind and take a moment to Keep Up With Kwanza:

Boston Pride 2013: Always showing love and support for the LGBTQ community, Kwanza hit the stage at this year’s Boston Pride festival on June 8, 2013. Despite the unfortunate events that happened only weeks before, the resilient city of Boston filled the streets for the festival which also included performances from Karmin, Rachael Sage, Shockolady, and others.

Evolution @ Beatbox: After Boston Pride, Kwanza Jones headed back to the west coast to give a SUPERCHARGED performance at San Francisco nightclub, Beatbox. So many people came out for the Evolution dance party where Kwanza turned it up with her singles, “Vicious” and “SUPERCHARGED”. The party also featured DJ Joshua D, and DJ/Producer Alex Cohen. If the name sounds familiar, you may have heard the Alex Cohen remixes for the Kwanza Jones singles, “Think Again” and “Time To Go“.

LA is so VICIOUS: Fans from all over have been rocking their Vicious snapbacks on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Some of you have been pretty creative in showing off how Vicious you are. However, this month, the sightings have spread to a BET Awards after party held in Los Angeles and DJ’ed by Nick Cannon. They were also seen at last weekend’s Legends Football League game between Los Angeles Temptation and Las Vegas Sin. How fitting? Those ladies are definitely beyond fierce; they are vicious.

Summer Fitness Challenge: If you didn’t know, Kwanza Jones, among many things, is an advocate for health and fitness. There are a few fitness challenges that have been going around, but the dance/pop diva has decided to create one of her own based off her live shows. Sounds fun, Kwanza! The word is she is planning to launch it soon. Make sure you check back soon or visit the Kwanza Jones Facebook page for more details.
