Visionary Leader Kwanza Jones empowers Girls Inc. with both a financial boost and a motivational boost at the Women’s Leadership Breakfast held in celebration of the International Day of the Girl.

In a ribbon cutting on May 5, 2023, the prestigious Ivy League Princeton University named two dormitories after Black and Latino alums and donors José E. Feliciano and Kwanza Jones.

Two housing units on Princeton University’s campus have been named after a Black and Latino donor.

Kwanza Jones graduated from the institution 30 years ago, and in 2019 decided to honor her alma mater with a huge donation to the tune of $20M alongside fellow Princeton ’94 graduate José E. Feliciano.

Princeton’s new residential colleges, Yeh College and New College West, were celebrated on Friday, May 5, as vibrant living-learning communities designed to foster connection, inclusivity and interactions among students.

Members of the University community gathered on May 5 to formally celebrate Princeton’s two new residential colleges — Yeh College and New College West — and several named residence halls and community spaces.

The health of Black women is under constant attack. Women’s Reproductive Rights Assistance Project (WRRAP) follows a reproductive justice model and continues to work.
